Terms & Conditions

Last updated 14 September 2026

These terms cover buying and commissioning from Copper Codes (Chelsea Karabin). Placing an order means you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

The pieces

Every piece is made by hand and one of a kind. Colour, stone, and wirework vary naturally from piece to piece and from what a screen shows. Those variations are part of the work, not a fault.

Orders & payment

When you place an order, the piece is held for you and you receive an order number. Pay the total shown, in US dollars, by Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal, with your order number in the note. Your order is confirmed once payment is received. A held piece that is not paid for may be released back for sale.

Commissions

A commission begins with a deposit of half the price, which reserves your place and counts toward the total; the balance is due when the piece is finished, before it ships. Pieces are made in the spirit of the example you choose, not as exact copies. Please allow a minimum of two to three weeks, depending on the piece.

All sales final

Because every piece is one of a kind and often made to order, all sales are final: finished pieces and commissions are not returnable or refundable, and commission deposits are non-refundable once work has started. If your piece arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.

Shipping

Postage is quoted separately and paid by the buyer. We pack each piece carefully and share tracking when it ships. Once a carrier has the parcel, delivery timing is in their hands.

Care

Copper is a living metal and will patina over time. Keep pieces dry, store them away from moisture, and clean gently. This is normal and not a defect.

Your art & images

The designs, photographs, and text on this site belong to Copper Codes and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Liability

Pieces are sold as shown, for personal enjoyment and adornment. To the extent the law allows, Copper Codes is not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from their use.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version always lives here with its date.
